Location. The Hotel La Mela is located in the suburbs of Rome, Italy, within six kilometres of the University of Rome at Tor Vergata. The city centre is 8.5 kilometres away, and the nearest metro station, Anagnina, is two kilometres from the hotel.

From Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA):
Distance to the Hotel La Mela is 15 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.
Getting there. The COTRAL bus runs between arrivals and the Anagnina metro stop (the final stop on line B) every 40 minutes. Single tickets cost 1 EUR. From here take Bus 500 for five or six stops to the hotel. Licensed white taxis cost around 25 EUR (including airport surcharge) to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors. Prices are all subject to change.
