The Residenza Villa Maria near Rome is flanked by colorful private gardens and rolling hills. This three tiered crimson villa is located five kilometers from Rome and 15 kilometers from the Coliseum and the Spanish Steps in the capital's center. The rural setting extends to country style guestrooms whose whitewashed walls set off the distressed, dark wood furnishings and polished floor tiles common to all 30. Modern, black and white striped linens feature, along with minifridges and cable television.
Guests of the Villa Maria may alternate reduced rate day tours of classical or archeological Rome courtesy of the hotel's booking service, with time unwinding around the seasonal outdoor swimming pool. A local restaurant offers a shuttle service from and to the hotel, in addition to meal delivery.
The Residenza Villa Maria is bout 30 minutes from Rome Fiumicino Airport. The hotel offers a pick up service from Fidene, which can be reached from the airport via Metro. Guests preferring to make their own way take the Metro to Tiburtina and continue by public bus.
